2. Getting Started

Joining Fraction.skin takes less than a minute.
You only need a Privy Wallet for payments and a Steam trade link for receiving redeemed skins.

2.1 Creating Your Wallet

• Click Connect Wallet in the top-right corner.

• Log in with email or social account — Privy creates your blockchain wallet instantly.

• Your wallet is non-custodial: Fraction.skin never stores or controls your keys.

• All deposits, trades, and withdrawals happen directly in USDC on Solana.

Balances update in real time, matching blockchain data.

2.2 Adding Your Steam Trade Link

To redeem a full skin, you’ll need your Steam trade link.
Fraction.skin never connects directly to Steam’s API — the link is just a public URL that allows delivery.

• Go to Steam → Inventory → Trade Offers and copy your trade link.

• Paste it once in your Fraction.skin profile.

• It’s used only when you redeem a skin; otherwise, it stays dormant.

This keeps your Steam account safe while still enabling item delivery.
