Question : who is the provider for the skins ?
All skins on Fraction.skin come from verified third-party providers, not from individual user inventories. Our main partner is Skinsback, a trusted supplier as an example.

Question : How can I sell my skin without sending it to a bot? Won’t direct trades cause issues?
Once our peer-to-peer system is live, you’ll sell directly through a protected escrow process :  not to a bot. When you start a trade, the payment stays in escrow until the trade is completed and verified. After the protection period ends, the funds are automatically released to the seller. This way, no bots hold your items, and both sides stay protected.

Question: what's a fraction ? 
A fraction is a digital share of a real CS skin. Instead of buying the entire skin, you can own a small portion of it. Each fraction represents part of the skin’s total value and can be traded on our marketplace.If you collect all the fractions of a skin, you can redeem it and receive the item as a whole. 

Question: How are fractions made ? 
Fractions are created when a verified provider sends a real CS skin to Fraction.skin. Our system then divides the skin’s total value into a set number of digital shares called fractions. Each fraction is stored in our database and linked to the skin’s market price.These fractions can then be bought, sold, or traded in USDC just like any other asset on the platform.

Question: Can I withdraw money at any time ?
Yes. You can withdraw your funds anytime directly from your Fraction wallet. There are no lock-ups or withdrawal limits : your funds always stay in your control.



Question: Do I need to KYC? 
No, you don’t need to complete KYC to use Fraction.skin. You can sign up instantly with your email, or Phantom wallet.



Question: Where are prices scraped off?
Data is instantaneously scrapped of CSGOempire’s API, this ensures real time live data updates for users.

Question : Who has access to my money?
We are partnered with privvy which ensures complete safety of your funds. Privvy manages the funds in non custodial wallets generated by you. Your wallet is only accessible by you.



Question: Can Valve ban my account ? 
No, users do not directly connect their steam to our app, everything operates through trade links to ensure safety.



Question : How do I withdraw items to my steam account ?
From your profile, you will see an accept trade option. Accept this trade and you will be sent a trade link to accept the item.



Question : How do I add a solana wallet to my leaderboard wallet?
Paste in your own solana wallet either generated by privvy or your own.

Question: Can I buy with regular money or only with USDC?
All trades use USDC on Solana. You can deposit USDC from any compatible wallet or exchange.



Question: Are there any fees when I trade?
Yes, standard fees apply: 1% on skin and fraction trades, and 10% for instant sales or gatcha buybacks. Fees are shown clearly before confirmation.



Question: What happens if the site goes down?
You can still access your wallet and assets through Solana since everything is recorded on-chain.



Question: How do I earn points?
You earn points automatically by trading, listing, referring friends, and opening crates. Points update in real time. Your points can be seen in the leaderboard tab.
